Cameron Diaz made her long-awaited return to the red carpet after a five-year hiatus at the premiere of her new film with Jamie Foxx, Back in Action. The event took place in Berlin on Wednesday, January 15.
For the occasion, the 52-year-old actress opted for an all-black ensemble, featuring a partially sheer blouse, high-waisted jeans, and a long coat.
She posed for photos solo, alongside her co-star Jamie Foxx, and with the film’s director, Seth Gordon. Foxx, 57, sported a standout black-and-white striped suit for the premiere.
The last time Diaz made an official public appearance was in April 2019, when she reunited with her Charlie’s Angels co-stars at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony where Lucy Liu received her star. Before that, her previous red carpet appearance was in 2014 for the film Annie.
Diaz’s return to acting comes with Back in Action, which debuts on Netflix on Friday, January 17. This marks her second collaboration with the Oscar-winning Foxx, following their work together in Any Given Sunday in 1999.
In the Netflix action-comedy, former spies Emily and Matt, who had left the CIA years ago to start a family, are thrust back into the world of espionage when truths from their past come to light.
