One of the world’s largest and most modern cruise ships, the Norwegian Viva, docked today at the port of Volos and docked at the piers of the port’s tourist section, carrying thousands of passengers visiting the area’s attractions.
The giant cruise ship, the 293-meter-long Bahamas-flagged Norwegian Viva, docked at 7 a.m., coming from Istanbul with more than 5,000 passengers, of whom 3,543 are tourists and 1,467 are crew.
There were also dozens of tourist buses at the port to board and transport tourists to Pelion, the museums of Volos and Meteora, while others flooded the center of Volos to experience the daily life of the city.
The “Norwegian Viva” is scheduled to sail at 5 p.m. to Izmir.
