“Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” – The colorful world of the Dutch painter comes to life in 3D in Athens

More than 3,000 of his works are "brought to life" with the help of technology

A unique and impressive visual planetarium of colors and emotions, composed and deconstructed through more than 3,000 works by Vincent van Gogh, is what the exhibition “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” offers. It will be hosted from October 22, 2025, at the Goudi Olympic Center in Athens.

Having already attracted over 12 million visitors worldwide, this stunning exhibition is coming to Athens with the aim of presenting the work of the great Dutch painter in a spectacular way, using cutting-edge technology.

This is a dazzling multimedia show that brings Van Gogh’s vibrant artistic world to life through 3D presentations of his works. In a space filled with giant screens, the walls, columns, ceilings, and floors are transformed into a magical canvas using 60 high-resolution projectors.

“Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” is not just a regular exhibition – it’s a breathtaking, three-dimensional adventure that immerses us in the universe of the great artist. The viewer doesn’t merely observe, but becomes an active part of the exhibition, transforming this personal experience into a shared journey.

Visitors have the chance to wander through the places where Van Gogh lived and created, to touch and take photos with his objects, to get lost in his “Starry Night”, and to run among his famous “Sunflowers.”
