Two people were seriously injured in a knife attack in Golders Green, north London, when a man was spotted running along a main street in the area attempting to attack Jewish passersby.

According to the Jewish community’s volunteer security organization, Shomrim, its members rushed immediately to the scene and managed to restrain the suspect. Shortly afterward, police forces arrived and proceeded to arrest the man.

The two men sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.
