A total of 95,000 tickets have already been sold to fans from 75 countries for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.
Austria is preparing to host the 70th edition of the music competition and, according to figures published on Eurovision’s official website, 95,000 tickets for nine shows have already been snapped up by spectators from 75 countries and territories around the world.
Austria, as the host nation, is recording the highest demand, with residents showing strong enthusiasm for Eurovision’s return to the country after 2015. Germany and the United Kingdom follow, with Germany ranking second in ticket purchases and British fans forming the third-largest group of spectators set to travel to Vienna.
Switzerland is also strongly represented. As last year’s host country, it ranks fourth in ticket demand, while Eurovision’s appeal continues to extend beyond Europe, with significant interest from the United States, Australia and Canada.
The ten countries with the highest number of ticket purchases are Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States, France, Australia, Czechia, Slovakia and the Netherlands.
The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by ORF at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna on May 12, 14 and 16, 2026, with the First Semi-Final, Second Semi-Final and Grand Final respectively. In total, nine shows will be open to the public.
Tickets cover not only the three live televised shows, but also the afternoon preview shows held on the same dates, as well as the evening preview shows taking place on May 11, 13 and 15.
