Greek police have dismantled a drug trafficking ring in Mykonos that used a tourist transport company as a front, seizing large quantities of cocaine, cannabis and other substances, along with cash and vehicles.
According to the Hellenic Police (ELAS), the drug ring was led by a 37-year-old man and had been operating since at least mid-April. Its members allegedly used vans from a tourist transport business to move both the suspects and the drugs, mainly around Mykonos Town and other areas with heavy tourist traffic.
Five members of the organisation were arrested on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, during police operations in Mykonos and Attica. A 31-year-old woman was also arrested on drug possession charges.
Police said the organisation’s estimated illegal profits exceeded €700,000, based on the seized quantities and the cash found during the raids.
Raids in Mykonos, Piraeus and Perama
Officers from the Narcotics Division of the Directorate for Combating Organised Crime carried out searches at homes and locations allegedly used as drug “stash houses” in Mykonos, Piraeus and Perama.
According to ELAS, police seized:
2.69 kilograms of cocaine, 705 grams of pink cocaine, 754 grams of MDMA, 1.4 kilograms of raw cannabis, small quantities of processed cannabis, 846 narcotic and pharmaceutical tablets, 205 grams of ketamine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and 30 paper tabs soaked in an unknown narcotic substance.
They also confiscated five precision scales, four vans, two motorcycles, two cars, 14 mobile phones, an electronic cash counter, a safe, packaging materials, €94,575 in cash and $11,500.
The roles within the ring
Police said the 37-year-old alleged leader of Albanian descent directed and coordinated the organisation. He was reportedly responsible for finding suppliers, locating and managing hideouts, transporting and storing the drugs, overseeing distribution, handling part of the proceeds, and supplying other traffickers.
A 39-year-old man allegedly stored and guarded drugs intended for immediate distribution, found customers and held part of the sales revenue.
A 38-year-old man, described by police as the deputy leader and direct accomplice of the alleged ringleader, is accused of helping store and distribute the drugs, finding customers and managing part of the proceeds.
A 25-year-old man allegedly helped find customers and was involved in storing, guarding and trafficking the drugs.
A 38-year-old woman is accused of helping store and guard the drugs, occasionally distributing them, and monitoring the locations where they were hidden.
The drug price list
Greek police also released the estimated street prices for the substances allegedly trafficked by the ring.
Cocaine was being sold for €120 to €200 per gram, pink cocaine – known as TUCI – for €170 to €200 per gram, MDMA for €60 to €80 per gram, and ecstasy for €20 per tablet.
Raw cannabis was priced at €20 per gram, processed cannabis at €30 per gram, ketamine at €150 to €180 per gram, drug-soaked paper tabs at €20 each, hallucinogenic mushrooms at €40 per gram, and sedative tablets at €5 each.
Two of the arrested suspects have previous convictions for other offences. All those arrested were taken before the competent prosecutor.
