Hotel Not Hotel is designed by Collaboration-O, a group of young designers, and Dutch artist Arno Coenen who wanted to create something that looks more like a showroom than a standrad type hotel.

This extraordinary hotel has 15 rooms and each of them is a work of art. Some of them are designed inside a tram wagon, while others are behind libraries.

One of the most ornate is the ‘Crisis Free Zone’, which features a skillfully made arch carved from wood that guests step through to reach the beds.

Inspired by Transylvanian symbolism, the design will supposedly keep evil out. As the website says: ‘That’s why creatures like vampires, ghosts, and bankers will never be able to enter”.
