Italy passes law to clamp down on illegal migration, stop and fine NGO rescue ships – Analysis

It takes courage to enforce rule of law

Newsroom March 2 09:45

Illegal migrants from Africa have been demanding and expecting to be shuttled into the EU by NGOs. They knowingly embark on a dangerous journey to the EU, counting on this help. The illegals exploit the willingness of anyone to aid and abet them. Meanwhile, the UN, which has long encouraged open-door immigration policies in Europe, expects full compliance.

It takes courage to enforce rule of law, but courage is severely lacking in politicians today, with the notable exception of Giorgia Meloni, who is prioritizing the well-being of her own citizens.
