An 86-year-old cyclist died yesterday afternoon in Chrysoupoli Kavala after he collided with a car.
According to the website kavalapost.gr, a private car driven by an 88-year-old man, under circumstances unknown so far, collided with the 86-year-old cyclist, resulting in the latter being fatally injured.
The 86-year-old was taken to the Chrysoupolis Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation into the causes and circumstances of the accident is being conducted by the Nestos Police Department.

“On 10-11-2024 at 16:50′ in Chrysoupolis, a private car driven by an 88-year-old resident collided sideways with a bicycle driven by an 86-year-old resident, resulting in the fatal injury of the bicycle driver, who was transferred to the health center of Chrysoupolis.
