Her name isn’t new to the public. Christakis has been known for years for her work in Miami, and her reputation has even reached Greece, which she frequently visits. In the past hours, however, she has gone viral in the NBA thanks to one striking photo.

Specifically, a post she made on X (formerly Twitter) about the Miami teams drew millions of views and thousands of comments.
Trish Christakis was at the Kaseya Center when the Miami Heat faced the Cleveland Cavaliers — a game that marked the end of their playoff run this season. She shared what seemed like a simple photo afterward, which sparked massive online attention.
“Year 3! What a season for the Miami Heat! We are grateful. Thank you, Aaron Visions, for capturing this shot during my last live broadcast of the season,” wrote Christakis.
That very photo, which she was so happy about, garnered over 6 million views, thousands of comments and retweets, over 75,000 likes, and 18,000 saves.
“I’m officially a Miami Heat fan even if they’re losing by 50,” someone commented.
Another wrote: “She’s the Greek Freak 2.0.”
