It’s no longer hip to be a hipster.. the Yuccies are hear. The term was coined by David Infante’s recent story and it struck a chort, having been shared nearly 90,000 times in 24 hours.

The Yuccie (pronounced Yucky) is a millennial hybrid species who is materialistic, much like the yuppies of the Eighties but also wants creativity and autonomy in high esteem, like hipsters of the early 2000s.

Yuccies have high-paid jobs that they plan to leave to start their own company. They carefully and obsessively count the number of likes on their Facebook uploads and post on Instagram.

They are young, urban creatives!
