Agioi Anargyroi: The killer of Kyriaki was discharged, the prisoners’ hospital did not accept him, he returned to Attiko

He was hospitalised in Attiko after attempting to commit suicide – The prisoners’ hospital could not respond to his hospitalisation

The 39-year-old killer of Kyriaki, who was hospitalised at Attikon Hospital, was discharged from Attiko Hospital after he attempted to commit suicide in the toilet of his cell last Saturday night into Sunday.

The 39-year-old had earlier been released from intensive care and discharged to continue his recovery at the Korydallos prison inmate hospital.

However, when he arrived at the hospital in Korydallos, the facility said it was unable to provide hospitalisation to a person who had been intubated and released from ICU a few hours earlier.

After unsuccessful attempts to transfer him to an on-call hospital, he was finally ordered to return to Attiko and be treated in a simple ward for the time required.

It will be recalled that the perpetrator of the atrocious crime in Agioi Anargyroi attempted suicide using the bandages, which doctors had placed on his head and neck.

“He remains in the ICU under guard, in a few days he will be transferred to a ward to be treated there, to leave healthy for the prison, to rot in there, an example to be avoided for those who think of committing such heinous crimes.
