Asheville Greek Festival 2014

Admission is free for all ages and everyone is welcome.

The Asheville Greek Festival will take place from 26 to 28 September and is sponsored by Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
This festival has been a local tradition since 1986 and includes traditional Greek folk dancing, cooking classes, jewelry and crafts, as well as live music performances.

It is centered around the delicious food prepared by church members and visitors would be able to taste traditional Greek foods such as moussakas (a dish with fried eggplant), souvlaki (herb flavored tenderloin), dolmades ( vine leaves stuffed with rice), spanakopita (spinach pie) and much more.

Admission is free for all ages and everyone is welcome.
