Bomb in the Ministry of Labour: The perpetrators’ motorcycle was found – They are looking for fingerprints and dna

Concern at the Anti-Terrorism Department as long as there is no declaration of responsibility – The “orphan” fingerprint from the bomb at Goudi’s – Concern about the trapped envelope in the courts of Thessaloniki

The motorcycle with which the perpetrators escaped after the bomb attack at the Ministry of Labour was found by the police in the centre of Athens.

Anti-terrorism police officers put the motorcycle under surveillance for a short period of time and when no one went to pick it up, they took it to ‘GADA’, where forensic laboratory experts are working on it to identify any biological traces of the people who used it: Fingerprints, genetic material.

If any fingerprint is found, it will be compared with the “orphan” fingerprint found on the bomb that was planted near the MAT headquarters in Goudi.

However, there is alarm and concern in the Anti-Terrorism Department as apart from the phone call claiming responsibility for the bomb at the Labour Ministry from the “Revolutionary Class Self-Defence” there is no notice yet; in the past organisations did not send out notices if they intended to carry out attacks.

At the same time, there is also concern about the gelatodynamite-containing envelope addressed to the President of the Court of Appeal of Thessaloniki, which was found in the office of the judicial official, having passed through all security measures at the Thessaloniki courthouse.

The mechanism in the envelope could have caused casualties.
