Meet Alexia, the Colombian police officer who has garnered millions of views on social media (photos-videos)

She says she wants to connect with her community

Newsroom April 10 12:10

In the age of social media, anyone can go viral, even a police officer. Officer, Alexa Narvaez, a young police officer from Colombia has caused quite a stir on TikTok with her stunning looks and fun personality.

Officer Narvaez started her TikTok account as a way to connect with the community and show a different side of law enforcement. But what she didn’t expect was that her beauty and charm would attract such a huge following.

In just a few weeks, her TikTok videos have garnered over 2 million views, with fans going crazy over her striking features and contagious smile. Some of her most popular videos feature her singing.

One of her most popular videos shows Officer Narvaez answering the question: “How often do you get hit on while on duty?” With a shy smile, she replies: “I don’t keep an account. I just say thank you and move on.”

While her TikTok fame has brought her into the limelight, she says her true passion is serving her community as a police officer. “I love my job and being able to help people,” she says.

Some critics have raised concerns that the policewoman’s popularity could distract from the seriousness of her job. But the officer says she takes her role as a police officer very seriously and never compromises her duties for the sake of social media.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with people on a personal level and show them that police officers are people too,” she says.
