Romanos to SYRIZA and PASOK: They go to any means to undermine the country’s development

The spokesperson of New Democracy (ND) targeted the two parties in that they did not vote in favour of the additional funding for Greece from the Recovery Fund

Newsroom April 10 06:01

“Syriza and PASOK are countering any means, both domestically and outside the country to undermine its development, stability, social cohesion, and funding,” said New Democracy’s spokesperson Nikos Romanos, noting that the two parties did not vote for additional funding from the Recovery Fund intended for improving hospital infrastructure, supporting farmers, free medical examinations programs, and other initiatives such as the ‘Household Saving’ program.

In his statement, the ND spokesperson elaborated: “Syriza and PASOK are adopting the Arvanitidis Line in the national parliament. After starring in the campaign to defame the country internationally, orchestrating, composing, and supporting the despicable resolution against our country, which risks the loss of European funds, today Syriza and PASOK did not vote the draft law for extra funding for Greece from the Recovery Fund.
