Samaras: SYRIZA reinstates the risk of Grexit

“SYRIZA gives the ultimate battle to cancel the course of the country”

During his speech at an event the Greek Prime Minister launched an attack against SYRIZA for their attitude towards the election for President of the Republic  and stated that “the citizens don’t want elections and will punish those who try to impose them” and added that is time for MPs to assume their responsibilities.

According to Mr. Antonis Samaras” SYRIZA tries to  cancel out the course of the country by threatening  of early elections and by violating the spirit of the Constitution”.

The Prime Minister continued by saying that “For many months, some create clouds of political instability and uncertainty abroad. These clouds dissolve today, by bringing the presidential election a month earlier, in order to get to Greece the next day. We had no right to do something different”.

According to Mr. Samaras, citizens don’t want elections, the markets don’t want elections and due to fear of the oppositions plan the stock markets are falling.

The truth is clear and we are a breath away from normalcy and development, added the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, Mr. Antonis Samaras referred to the name of Mr. Stavros Dimas which he yesterday announced to be nominated for the position of the President of the Republic, by saying that SYRIZA supports that he will not be nominated for all three rounds. On that, the  Prime Minister stated and assured that Mr. Dimas will be a candidate in all three rounds.

Among other, subsequently Mr. Samaras made a brief review of the government’s activities.
