The beloved singer and songwriter Lavrentis Mahairitsas was laid to rest in the Zografou cemetery in the presence of his family, friends and all the anonymous people who knew and loved him through his songs.

The singer who left his mark and defined an entire generation, died on Monday morning of a heart failure, while he was at his home in Pteleo in Magnesia.

The Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife, Mareva were present as well as friends and colleagues such as George and Anna Dalara, Vasilis Papakonstantinou and Eleni Radou, Yiannis Kotsiras, Vassia Trifili etc.
