The body of an elderly woman was recovered in the marine area of Agios Nikolaos in Corinth.
The Corinth Port Authority was informed of the incident by the Hellenic Coast Guard’s Direct Action Center in the morning.
A vessel with personnel from the Corinth Port Authority went to the scene, where they retrieved the body and transported it to the fishing shelter of Corinth.

According to the announcement of the Hellenic Coast Guard, the body belongs to an elderly woman who was taken by an ambulance of the National Emergency Center (EKAB).
The body was transferred to the Hospital of Corinth, while the Corinth Port Authority is conducting an investigation into the case. An autopsy has already been requested from the Forensic Service in Patras.
