The fire broke out shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday morning in an outdoor area in Agia Marina Koropi.
The flames are burning near a residential area and a 112, was sent out asking residents in the area of Megalo Metochi Agia Marina to move to Koropi Avenue – Agia Marina.

The firefighting operation involves 75 firefighters, 20 vehicles and 4 hiking teams, while 5 aircraft and two helicopters are operating aerial drops. In addition, volunteers and water trucks of the OTA
