An alarm was raised earlier outside the British Parliament in London as reports said a person was seen walking around carrying knives.
The Metropolitan Police were immediately mobilized, resulting in the arrest of a suspect, while the area was cordoned off during the incident and the entrance to Westminster Palace was sealed off.

“Officers attended the scene and a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He will be taken to a police station. No injuries have been reported.”the update said.

A spokesman for the UK parliament said: “We are aware of an incident outside Carriage Gates. Parliamentary security and the Metropolitan Police are managing the situation.”
