The release of hostages held by Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza since October 2023 continues.

Following the release of 20-year-old soldier Arbel Berger, on Thursday afternoon, 29-year-old Israeli Arbel Yehud and 80-year-old Gadi Moses, along with five Thai nationals, were handed over to the Red Cross in Khan Younis, a development confirmed by the Israeli military.

Videos circulating on social media show the 29-year-old Israeli being escorted by members of Islamic Jihad through a dense crowd, even passing by the destroyed home of Yahya Sinwar.

Moreover, Israel is reported to have sent a protest message to the negotiators following the chaotic handover of the hostages to the Red Cross inside Gaza.
