The Larissa Appeals Court Prosecutor’s Office has clarified that there was no prosecution order regarding the removal of soil at the Tempi site. This statement was issued in response to a question posed by SYRIZA MPs, who sought information on whether “there was a prosecutor’s order for the soil removal, and if not, who authorized the procedure?”

The Prosecutor’s Office of Larissa stated, “No order was given for the soil disposal at the train collision site, either by the Director of the Larissa Appeals Prosecutor’s Office or the Director of the Larissa Prosecutor’s Office. Following a preliminary examination of the incident, a criminal prosecution for breach of duty was initiated against those involved.”
