Things got out of hand during today’s press conference at Volos City Hall, held by Achilleas Beos and the Regional Governor of Thessaly, Dimitris Koureta, concerning the funding of the Greater Volos Municipal Water and Sewerage Company (DEYAMB).

Tensions flared when City Councilor and DEYAMB board member Stelios Limnios tried to enter the room where Beos and Koureta were speaking.

According to a post by Volos Active Citizens member Faii Tzanetoulakou, who was present and recorded the incident on her phone, Beos forcibly removed Limnios from the mayor’s chamber, also sharing the relevant videos.
