A change in Greece’s weather pattern will be witnessed as a wave of instability is expected from today, accompanied by a drop in temperature and rainfall, mainly in the central and northern regions. According to meteorologists’ estimates, this change is due to an “air tide”, which carries cold air masses and brings advanced autumn.
Theodoros Kolydas said in a post that the temperature drop will be in the range of 5 to 7 degrees Celsius by the middle of next week, and there will be instability.
Meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafyllias said in his forecast that the weekend rains will mainly affect central and northern Greece, while island regions and Attica do not seem to be significantly affected.
He explained that from the new week, rainfall will extend to other parts of the country, while the temperature will drop even further, reaching up to 6-7 degrees below normal for the season.
