At least one person has died after shots were fired near Bellagio‘s famous Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas.

Police in Las Vegas said their officers responded to a shooting incident in the 3600 block of S. Las Vegas Boulevard, clarifying that the incident did not occur inside a casino. Police urged citizens to avoid the area, and local media reports say pedestrian and vehicle access has been blocked.

It remains unknown if there are any other dead or injured.

In a video circulating on social media that appears to be of the attack, a man is seen having a verbal altercation with a woman in front of the balloon sign outside Paris Las Vegas, located across from the Bellagio Fountains.
