Friends and relatives are saying their final goodbyes to Christos Stavrianidis, who lost his life last Monday night when he fell into a ravine while hiking with his friend in the forest of Fractus in the Drama.
The funeral service of the 61-year-old was held in the Holy Metropolitan Church of Drama, where a crowd of people arrived early in the afternoon to bid him farewell.
Tragic figures are his family members, his wife, and his three children, who cannot believe that the tragedy happened from one moment to the next.
“Our Christos was unique and always smiling. He was the best lad. The whole of Drama knew him, and for two days now, everyone is a mess. He was an eagle,” said a relative of the 61-year-old.
The body of Christos Stavrianidis arrived at the church at 17:3,0, while the funeral service will take place at 18:00.
