Fans are flocking to the streets of Birmingham to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, wearing Black Sabbath t-shirts and playing music through portable speakers.
A motorcade carrying Ozzy Osbourne’s body will pass through the streets of the city where he was born.
The procession will begin at 3:00 PM (Greek time) and will pass through Broad Street and the “Black Sabbath Bridge” with the famous bench dedicated to the legendary band, where thousands of fans are already leaving flowers and messages. The procession will be broadcast live via livestream.
A webcam has been set up on the bridge, allowing anyone to watch the event live, but the owners, Westside Business Improvement District, stated that demand has been so high that it is difficult to access.
Queue for the Condolence Book
“We will pay our final respects to one of Birmingham’s greatest living legends,” said the city’s mayor, Zaffar Iqbal, according to the BBC.
The mayor described Ozzy Osbourne as “a child of Birmingham,” saying, “He put Birmingham on the world map. He put Aston on the map.” He also mentioned that fans are lining up to sign the book of condolences that has been opened. “The love shown for Ozzy and his family has been immense,” he added.
The Black Sabbath graffiti on Navigation Street is another location where people are stopping to leave messages and flowers.
The windows of The Crown pub, where Black Sabbath made their first appearance, are covered with black-and-white photos of the band.

Private Burial to Follow with Close Friends and Family Only
According to reports, the motorcade will be accompanied by the local brass band Bostin’ Brass, as well as Yungblud, who had a close relationship with Ozzy Osbourne. Members of Black Sabbath are expected to play an active role in the proceedings, according to The Guardian.
After the procession through the center of Birmingham, a private burial ceremony will follow, attended only by close family and friends.
