More than 170 guns were found in the home of a retired officer of the Air Force during a major police operation by the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime in Kiato.
Specifically, in his possession were pistols, revolvers, machine guns, submachine guns and rifles, while he also had 156 barrels, 45 handles, 350 magazines and 110 handguns.
Still, the retired man had combat knives, swords, bayonets and silencers. The EL.AS. issued a statement in which it released photos and videos of the war materiel, which the retiree had in his possession.
Also in the attic of the house of the soldier’s house was found a fully equipped workshop for the manufacture, charging and refilling of cartridges of various calibers, consisting, among other things, of several caps, capsules, bullet rounds, as well as packages containing gunpowder, weighing a total of more than -120 kg.

The police do not believe that he had all these weapons on his behalf. They believe he was working with a major arms dealer and are considering the possibility that he may have been involved in another Greek FBI operation about a month ago in the Aspropyrgos area, where a large quantity of weapons was also found.
