An extremely violent incident between two Roma families involving an attempted kidnapping in Nea Ionia has come to light, with the audio document between the SWAT and GADA Operations Centre crews shocking.
It all started in the early hours of last Saturday morning (November 8), when two cars pulled up outside a house on Bosphorus Street, with 8 people disembarking and smashing the front door of a house in which they live. According to the mother’s complaint, the perpetrators were armed and, after beating her son, they then put him in one of the two vehicles and fled the area.
In Nea Ionia, a patrol car initially arrived from the Peristeri area, and a second one had to go from Gerakas, as, according to the transmissions, there was none available, since all ELAS vehicles were tied up for domestic violence incidents.
The transmissions also include the voices of the mother, who claimed to police officers that she knew the perpetrators and that they were probably heading to the area where the Eleionas bazaar is located.
Eventually, the kidnapper managed to escape from the perpetrators and told the police that he recognized at least two of his kidnappers. The new incident of violence between Roma was apparently triggered by a woman’s eyes.
