Nikos Pappas removed from the European Parliament Group – Facing expulsion from SYRIZA after a violent attack on Nikos Giannopoulos

Socrates Famellos asked for Pappas to be removed from the party in the ethics committee

Nikos Pappas is out of the SYRIZA Eurogroup after the violent incident and the attack on journalist Nikos Giannopoulos in Strasbourg. Nikos Pappas will also be referred to the ethics committee.

SYRIZA reports that Socrates Famellos has suspended Nikos Pappas from the SYRIZA-PS Eurogroup for his unacceptable behavior.

At the same time, according to information, developments are also expected within the Left group in the European Parliament, to which SYRIZA belongs.
