Two top PASOK executives were captured by the camera this afternoon in a well-known restaurant in Athens. It is not rare for executives of the same party to have a close encounter, but the appointment of Haris Doukas and Nadia Giannakopoulou is of political interest. They both contested the leadership in the 2024 internal party elections, and in the second round, Nadia Giannakopoulou supported the election of Dukas against Nikos Androulakis.

The West Athens MP continues to have open bridges of communication with the Mayor of Athens and a member of the PASOK Political Council, while at the same time faithfully following the party’s central line.
