A homosexual man was taken to prison for sexually abusing and raping the son of his partner, a 12-year old boy that suffers from a slight form of mental retardation, in Argolis, Peloponnese, Tuesday. The father was released on restrictive conditions by the judge after he presented his case to the local prosecutor. The horrifying story, which Protothema.gr broke first, came to light when the young boy, who was vacationing with his father and his partner since May, contacted his mother in distress. ‘Come and take me, I don’t want to stay here any more’, said the traumatised boy to his mother, who had separated from her husband when he ‘came out’ as gay. The woman picked up her son, who described his ordeal to his mother on the way back to Athens. The story started unravelling when the boy initially told his grandmother (on his father’s side) about his experience, and she immediately informed the authorities about the matter. The two men started gradually fondling the boy during his holidays, before the 35-partner of the father eventually raped him. The two homosexual men at first denied all accusations, claiming they were the figment of the boy’s imagination. However, after the boy was examined by doctors it was revealed that the boy was telling the truth. The news has shocked the town community in Argolis.
