MH370: Investigations of debris believe it belongs to the 777

Is the mystery nearing a revelation?

Newsroom July 31 01:17

By Debbie Papadakis

The discovery of the 777’s flapper debris of a wing belonging to the missing Boeing is being investigated. Though the debris is a small part, hopes of finding the rest of the plane is a matter of time. A member of the French air force in Reunion K.s. Narendran, whose wife was on the flight, said on Wednesday that he is hesitant to call the discovery as something major.

“I think this is very early days yet. All we know is that a small part has been found. It is still a little early to suggest it does belong to MH370,” he told CNN’s “Erin Burnett Out Front” from India. “I think it is premature to feel that it is all coming to a close or that we are even closer to the truth.”

Other people on the investigating team who have also lost ‘loved ones’ on MH370 have hopes is solving the mystery in time.Sarah Bajc, whose partner, Philip Wood, was on MH370, said her “heart has been in my throat for most of the day.”She and her family had always lived with the hope of seeing their loved one being found considering no bodies were found from the missing Boeing. Indeed the emotional strain can be felt in Bajc’s comment:

“If ultimately this is the piece of the wing, then that little thread of hope that I have been holding on to will, will have to break. And reality will have to take over,” she said holding back tears. “But, yeah, up until now, I and most of the family members have continued to believe that until we have a body … we can’t give up hoping they will still come back.”

Theories of what happened to to MH370 are many. With 239 people aboard, it disappeared after taking off from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, early on March 8, 2014, on a flight bound for Beijing. The disappearance of the flight without finding anything was a mystery. Investigation since March 2014 conducted had teams searching over the vast area of the Indian Ocean covering 2300 miles which is equivalent to 3,700 kilometers were fruitless .With recent discoveries however, detailed analysis will be undertaken by the French Air force and Scientists from all over the world that will be working together with the Malaysian investigation teams to see what can be derived from the recent findings.

The recent findings have the Malaysian government declaring that the loss of the Malaysia Airlines flight 370 as an accident and all of its passengers together with the crew being presumed dead.
