Greece to call for an emergency meeting of European Council of Foreign Affairs

The decision was made during a meeting between Foreign Minister and PM Mitsotakis

Greece has called for an emergency convening of the European Council of Foreign Affairs, following a meeting between PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias at the Maximos Mansion.

During the meeting it was decided that the Greek Foreign Minister should request from the meeting of an extraordinary Council of Foreign Affairs of the European Union.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias had a meeting with US Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Ross Pyatt at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and Turkish delinquency were at the centre of the discussion, according to a post by Mr. Dendias on Twitter.
