Three local residents—a man and two women—were arrested yesterday, Monday, September 23, at noon in Lamia for violations of drug laws and, in some cases, weapon laws.
Specifically, the man and one of the women were arrested because both in their possession and during a lawful search conducted at their home, the following were found and seized:
- Plant extracts from psychoactive plants, soaked in narcotic substances, in makeshift packaging, with a total gross weight of 60 grams
- The cash amount of 160 euros
- 3 mobile phones
- A plastic cannabis grinder
- A full-face hood
- A pair of gloves
- A knife
Police also seized a private vehicle as a means of facilitating their illegal activities.
Additionally, prior to the arrests of the aforementioned individuals, another woman was arrested who had gone to their residence. Immediately after her departure, two packages containing plant extracts from psychoactive plants soaked in narcotic substances, as well as a package containing a small amount of powdered cocaine, were found in her possession and seized.
The preliminary investigation was conducted by the Lamia Security Subdivision, while the arrested individuals will be brought to the Lamia First Instance Prosecutor’s Office with the charges formed against them.
