The “red line” for Ukraine is its territorial integrity, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Speaking to reporters jointly with Finnish President Alexander Stump from Helsinki, where he is on an official visit, he reiterated that Russia has so far not shown that it is ready to end the war and hinted that his country would not recognize the occupied territories as Russian.

Regarding the telephone conversation that the US president had with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin yesterday, Zelensky said he will contact Donald Trump today to get the details of what they discussed and agreed upon.

On the peace talks, he said that “the next steps cannot be taken without us.”
