The authorities had been informed by relatives of Yukai, as they had been unable to contact him after his departure for the Mykonos.

The Turkish Coast Guard was notified at 11:40 p.m. Monday night, and a few hours later, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, a crew of a commercial vessel notified the operations room that they had spotted debris from a vessel, which turned out to be the Yukai’s Graywolf.

Divers, a helicopter and coast guard vessels were involved in the search for the Turkish businessman, but without any results
