Thriller involving Turkish businessman bound for Mykonos – His yacht found wrecked in Prokonnesos

The authorities in Turkey have been alarmed by the disappearance of businessman Khalit Yukai, who has been missing since Saturday night when he left his yacht Graywolf from Yalova in southwestern Turkey for Mykonos.

The 43-year-old Turkish man’s yacht was found by the Turkish coast guard wrecked and half-submerged off the Prokonnisos.

The authorities had been informed by relatives of Yukai, as they had been unable to contact him after his departure for the Mykonos.

The Turkish Coast Guard was notified at 11:40 p.m. Monday night, and a few hours later, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, a crew of a commercial vessel notified the operations room that they had spotted debris from a vessel, which turned out to be the Yukai’s Graywolf.

Divers, a helicopter and coast guard vessels were involved in the search for the Turkish businessman, but without any results

Who is the missing Turkish businessman

Born in 1982, Khalit Yukai is the owner of Mazu Yachts, a company that builds luxury yachts.
