Toni Kontaxakis made a touching revelation about Elena Paparizou’s appreciation for Klaudia’s talent, stating that the well-known singer covered the cost of the young artist’s scholarship at his conservatory without ever telling her. The musician also recalled his first meeting with Klavdia — who led Greece to 6th place with the song “Asteromata” — noting that when he heard her sing at “The Voice” auditions, he realized he had never heard a voice like that before. As he said, he was left speechless by her talent.

More specifically, Toni Kontaxakis, whose conservatory Klaudia attended, stated on the TV show Super Katerina on Tuesday, May 20:
“Elena Paparizou paid for her scholarship but never told her. Then I offered her another year myself, so she could manage the long commute from Aspropyrgos to Palaio Faliro.”

Regarding his first meeting with Klaudia, the musician shared:
“I remember, she was about 17 years old, I think, when she came to the auditions for The Voice — I was the music director back then — with just a piano. She came in, and I asked her, ‘What do you want to sing?’ She told me, ‘Roxanne by The Police.’ She opened her mouth, and I was truly left with my mouth hanging open. I had never heard anything like that before.”
