Turkish Foreign Minister calls on Muslims of the world to aid the “Turks” in Thrace

Cavusoglu spoke at the Organization of the Islamic Conference

Newsroom March 23 11:23

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, issued a new provocative statement, this time talking about “Turks” in Thrace who are in fact “oppressed” by the Greek state.

Cavusoglu participated in the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OID), which is taking place in Islamabad, where he stressed that “Muslim Turks, who have kept alive the call in Western Thrace for 7 centuries and in Cyprus for 5 centuries, are deprived of their basic rights in the 21st century”.
